    Follitropin alfa - injection

    Gonal F Usage: Follitropin alfa is a hormone used to treat fertility problems. it is used at combination with another hormone (hCG) to stimulate the ovaries in girl or used alone to stimulate sperm production in men, depending on type of fertility problem being treated by your doctor.

    How to use Gonal F: Inject it drug under skin (subcutaneously or SQ) usually one time daily since wonen or 2 to 3 times per week for men; or use as directed by your pharmacist. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. Learn all preparation and usage instructions in the product package and, if you have any questions about any of the information, ask youre pharmacist or pharmacist. Before using, check it product visually for particles or discoloration. If ether is present, do not use liquid. Learn how to store and discard needles & medical supplies safely. Consult your pharmacist.

    Gonal F side effects: Dizziness, fever, chills; redness, swelling, itching, or pain at injection site; nausea, headache, breast tenderness, vaginal breakthrough bleeding in women, or acne or tiredness in men may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional. Tell some your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: bloating, muscle pain, joint pain, swelling or pain in the arms or legs, stomach pain, unusual weight gain for woman, breast pain or swelling in men. Tell you're doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: unusually fast heartbeat, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or pharmacist.

    Gonal F Precautions: Tell your physician you're medical history, especially of: abnormal vaginal bleeding, thyroid or adrenal gland problems, cancer/tumors or ovarian cysts/enlargement, any other fertility problems, any allergies you may have. Multiple births may occur as a result of this therapy. this medication shouldn't be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform you're healthcare professional immediately. it is not known whether this drug passes into breast milk. Because of potential risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this drug is not recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Gonal F drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of all prescription & nonprescription medication you may use especially about: other hormone tablet (e.g., estrogens, progesterones). don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.

    Gonal F Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include severe stomach pain or swelling, nausea, vomiting, weight gain, severe headache, shortness about breath, and weakness.

    Gonal F special notes: do not share this medication with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., ultrasound, hormone levels) will be performed to monitor you're progress.

    If you missed Gonal F dose: If you miss dose, contact your pharmacist or doctor to establish a new dosing schedule.

    Gonal F Storage: since single-dose ampules: Before mixing, the powder may be stored refrigerated or in room temperature between 36 & 77 degrees F (2 to 25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Use immediately after mixing. Discard any unused portion about ampule. for multi-dose vials: Before mixing, powder may be stored refrigerated or at room temperature 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. next mixing, multi-dose vials should be stored refrigerated between 36 to 46 degrees F (2 to 8 degrees C). Protect from light. Discard unused solution after 28 days.
