Claritin Usage: Loratadine is an antihistamine that provides relief of seasonal allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose (rhinitis), itching eyes, and sneezing. this is also used for hives.
How to use Claritin: Take this medication by mouth once day or as directed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. do not take this drug for several days before allergy testing for test results can be affected.
Claritin side effects: Headache, fatigue, dry mouth, thirst, dry nose or hoarseness may occur. These effects should lessen as your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify youre doctor or pharmacist promptly. Tell your pharmacist immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: nervousness, rapid or pounding heartbeat, unusual weakness, stomach pain, dizziness, diarrhea, wheezing, increased physical activity. Loratadine does not usually cause drowsiness when used at recommended doses & under normal circumstances. However, be sure of drug's effects before engaging in activities that require alertness such as driving or using machinery. An allergic reaction to this tablet is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or pharmacist.
Claritin Precautions: Before using this drug, tell youre doctor or doctor your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, any allergies. Limit alcohol intake, as it may intensify medication side effects. Caution is advised when using it tablet in elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of med. this med should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're physician. this tablet passes in to breast milk. Breast-feeding isn't recommended while using this tablet.

If you missed Claritin dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If this is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double the dose to catch up.
Claritin Storage: Store between 36-86 degrees F (2-30 degrees C) away from light & moisture. do not store in the bathroom. Keep every medicines away from children & pets.
