    Ibuprohm Usage: Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID), which relieves pain and swelling (inflammation). it is used to treat headaches, muscle aches, backaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, arthritis, or athletic injuries. this medication is also used to reduce fever & to relieve minor aches & pain due to the common cold or flu. this med works by blocking the enzyme in some your body that makes prostaglandins. Decreasing prostaglandins helps to reduce pain, swelling, & fever.

    How to use Ibuprohm: Take it medication by mouth with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless your doctor directs you otherwise. don't lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this drug. If stomach upset occurs while taking this drug, take it with food, milk, or an antacid. dosage is based on you're medical condition and response to therapy. If repeat doses are needed, they are usually given 6 or 8 hours apart; or as directed by you're doctor. When ibuprofen is used in children, dose is based on youre child's weight. Read the product instructions to find the appropriate dose for your child's weight. Consult pharmacist or doctor if you have questions or if you need help in choosing appropriate dosage form. in certain conditions (e.g., arthritis), it may take up to two weeks, taken regularly, before full benefits of this drug take effect. If you use this tablet for migraine headache, & the pain is not relieved or worsens after first dose, tell your doctor immediately. since nonprescription ibuprofen products: If you treating yourself or giving it medication to child for undiagnosed fever or pain, consult the healthcare professional immediately if symptoms do not improve within 24 hours, worsen or last for more than 3 days, or if new symptoms appear.

    Ibuprohm side effects: Upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, headache, diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness, and dizziness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify you're pharmacist or doctor promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: stomach pain, swelling about the hands or feet, sudden or unexplained weight gain, ringing in ears (tinnitus). Tell some your physician immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: vision changes, rapid or pounding heartbeat, simple bruising or bleeding. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: change in amount of urine, severe headache, very stiff neck, mental/mood changes, persistent sore throat or fever. this drug may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. If you notice any of following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen & consult youre doctor or pharmacist immediately: black stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds. this medication may sometimes cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. If you notice any of the following highly unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen & consult your pharmacist or pharmacist immediately: yellowing eyes & skin, dark urine, unusual/extreme tiredness. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immeditial doctor attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

    Ibuprohm Precautions: this medication shouldnot be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using it medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have: severe kidney disease, allergies to aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib). Before using this medication, tell your physician or healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, poorly controlled diabetes, stomach problems (e.g., bleeding, ulcers), heart disease (e.g., congestive heart failure), HBP, swelling (edema, fluid retention), dehydration, blood disorders (e.g., anemia), bleeding or clotting problems, asthma, growths at the nose (nasal polyps), history of an allergic reaction with symptoms about lip/tongue/throat swelling (angioedema), any allergies in addition to those listed above. it drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. this medicine may cause stomach bleeding. daily use about alcohol and tobacco, especially when combined with this medicine, may increase your risk for stomach bleeding. Consult your healthcare professional or pharmacist for more information. this med may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths or sunlamps. Use a sunscreen & wear protective clothing when outdoors. Caution is advised when using it medication in elderly because they may be more sensitive to side effects of the drug, especially stomach bleeding & kidney effects. this medication must be used only when clearly needed during the 1'st 6 months of pregnancy. it isn't recommended since use during the last 3 months about pregnancy due to potential for serious harm & interference with normal labor/delivery. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. this pill passes into breast milk. While there have been no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult youre healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Ibuprohm drug interactions: Before using it drug, tell your physician or physician of all prescription and nonprescription goods you may use, especially of: alendronate, another medications for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, methotrexate), 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), cyclosporine, HBP medications (including ACE inhibitors such as captopril, angiotensin II receptor antagonists such as losartan, & beta-blockers such as metoprolol), lithium, other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib), 'water pills' (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, triamterene). check every prescription & nonprescription medicine labels carefully since many contain pain relievers/fever reducers (NSAIDs such as aspirin or naproxen) which are similar to it drug. If you also taking aspirin, as prescribed by some your pharmacist for reasons such as heart attack or stroke prevention (usually these dosages are 81-325 mg per day), continue to take the aspirin & consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking ibuprofen. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.

    Ibuprohm Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, unusually quick or slow heartbeat, trouble breathing, extreme drowsiness, loss of consciousness, or seizures.

    Ibuprohm special notes: do not share this drug with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed periodically to monitor your progress or money for side effects. Consult some your doctor since more details.

    If you missed Ibuprohm dose: If you are prescribed it drug on a regular schedule (not just 'as needed') & you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near time of next dose, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

    Ibuprohm Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. don't store at bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
