Warning: do not use oral and/or injectable ketorolac for mild or chronic pain nor should their combined use go longer than 5 days. this drug shouldnot be injected into the spine. Use only the amount prescribed. don't use it drug if you in labor, breast-feeding, have stomach problems (e.g., peptic ulcer), major kidney problems, bleeding problems, severe dehydration, or if you are having surgery. do not use ketorolac while using aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen). 'Blood thinners' (e.g., heparin, warfarin) should be used with extreme caution. Because this tablet can cause severe allergic reaction, appropriate medical help must be on hand, especially for 1st dose. do not use ketorolac if you are allergic to aspirin, NSAID or ketorolac itself. Seek immeditial medical attention if an allergic reaction occurs. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing. Elderly patients, those weighing less than 110-lbs (50kg), & those with mild kidney problems must not exceed 60mg/day when using the injectable form about this medication.

Toradol Usage: this pill is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication that relieves pain & reduces swelling. It's for short-term use only (no more than 5 days).

Toradol side effects: Stomach upset is the most common side effect. Nausea, vomiting, bloating, gas, loss of appetite, sweating, dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, dry mouth, irritation at injection site and abnormal tastes may also occur. If these effects become bothersome or severe, notify your physician. Inform your doctor promptly if you develop: ringing in the ears, vision changes. If you notice any about the following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking this drug & consult your physician or pharmacist immediately: black stools, persistent stomach/ abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds. An allergic reaction to it medication is unlikely, but seek immeditial medical attention if this occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or doctor.
Toradol Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history especially: any liver disease, kidney disease, blood disorders, ulcers, heart disease, alcohol use, hypertension, eye disease, asthma, nasal polyps, any allergies - especially aspirin/NSAID allergy (e.g., ibuprofen, celecoxib). Use caution when performing tasks requiring alertness. Limit alcohol intake as it may intensify drowsiness effect of it medication. it medicine may cause stomach bleeding. per day use of alcohol, especially when combined with this medicine, may increase you're risk since stomach bleeding. cash with you're healthcare professional or doctor for more information. do not take aspirin without consulting your doctor. cash ingredients of any nonprescription drug you may be taking since much cough-and-cold formulas contain aspirin. Infrequently, this pill may increase skin's sensitivity to sunlight. If this happens to you, avoid prolonged sun exposure, wear protective clothing & use sunscreen. Avoid sunlamps. Caution is advised when it drug is used in the elderly. it medication must be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. Use of this medication during last six months of pregnancy is not recommended. this med is excreted into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Toradol pill interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), other arthritis pill (including aspirin), 'water pills', lithium, probenecid. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.
Toradol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, dark stool, ringing in the ears, change in amount of urine, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, muscle weakness, slow or shallow breathing, confusion, severe headache or loss of consciousness.
Toradol special notes: do not share this drug with others.
If you missed Toradol dose: If you are on regular dosing schedule, use missed dose as soon as possible but not if Its almost clock for the next dose. If it is clock for following dose, skip the missed dose & resume some your regular schedule. don't 'double-up' dose.
Toradol Storage: Store at room temperature & keep away from moisture and sunlight.
