Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (nsaid) - oral
Tolectin Ds Usage: this medication is used to treat pain & reduce inflammation. it is used to treat headaches, muscle aches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, arthritis, or athletic injuries. few NSAIDs are also used to reduce fever.
How to use Tolectin Ds: Take it medication by mouth with a full glass (8oz or 240ml) of water unless youre pharmacist directs you otherwise. dosage is based on you're medical condition and response to therapy. If stomach upset occurs while taking it medication, take it with food, milk, or an antacid. do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this pill. in certain conditions (e.g., arthritis), this may take up to two weeks, taken regularly, before full benefit of this drug takes effect. If you use this for migraine headache, & pain isnt relieved or it worsens after 1st dose, seek immediate medical attention.
Tolectin Ds side effects: Upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, headache, diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness, and unusual fatigue may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify youre doctor. Tell your pharmacist immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: stomach pain, swelling of feet or ankles, ringing in the ears (tinnitus). Tell your pharmacist immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: vision changes, joint pain, muscle pain or weakness, easy bruising or bleeding, persistent sore throat & fever. Tell you're pharmacist immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: changes in amount or color of urine, yellowing of the eyes or skin. If you notice any of the following unlikely but serious side effects, stop taking it pill and consult your healthcare professional or healthcare professional immediately: black stools, persistent stomach/ abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds. An allergic reaction to it medication is unlikely, but seek immediate healthcare professional attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or pharmacist.
Tolectin Ds Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional you're medical history, especially about: kidney problems, liver problems, stomach problems (e.g., ulcers), heart disease (e.g., arrhythmias, heart failure), HBP (hypertension), diabetes, blood problems (e.g., anemia, bleeding disorders, porphyria), asthma, nasal polyps, eye problems, severe or long-lasting headaches, any allergies - especially aspirin/NSAID allergy (e.g., ibuprofen, celecoxib). this medication may make you dizzy or drowsy. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. this medication may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, use a sunscreen, & wear protective clothing when outdoors. this medicine can cause stomach bleeding. daily use of alcohol & this medicine may increase your risk for stomach bleeding. Caution is advised when using it pill in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to effects of med. it drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your physician. Using this drug during the last 6 months of pregnancy isnt recommended. this drug may pass into breast milk. Consult some your doctor before breast-feeding.
Tolectin Ds pill interactions: Tell your pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription med you may use, especially: 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), other drugs for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, methotrexate), 'water pills' (diuretics), lithium, anti- ulcer drug (e.g., cimetidine), HBP drug such as ACE inhibitors (e.g., captopril, lisinopril), and beta-blockers (e.g., metoprolol, propranolol), probenecid, phenytoin, cyclosporine, sulfa drugs, medicine for diabetes (e.g., glipizide, glyburide), alendronate. cash the labels on every your medicines because they can contain aspirin or other aspirin-like NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen, naproxen). Ask your pharmacist about safe use of those products. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Tolectin Ds Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, dark stool, ringing in ears, change in amount of urine, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, muscle weakness, slow or shallow breathing, confusion, severe headache or loss of consciousness.
Tolectin Ds special notes: do not share this medication with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed to monitor you're progress.
If you missed Tolectin Ds dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near clock of following dose, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Tolectin Ds Storage: Store at room temperature between 36 and 86 degrees F (2 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
