    Ketorolac tromethamine - ophthalmic

    Acular Usage: it drug is used to relieve itching of eyes caused by seasonal allergies. it is also used to prevent & treat inflammation of eyes due to cataract removal.

    How to use Acular: Apply it drug to affected eyes as directed, generally four times daily. Apply eye drops to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or let it touch your eye at any time during use about it tablet. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and administer prescribed number of drops. look downward and gently close youre eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at corner of the eye near the nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent medication from draining away from eye. Try not to blink & do not rub the eye. don't rinse the dropper. Wash hands after use. for preservative-free (P.F.) brand, use solution immediately after opening dropper. Discard the remaining contents after one use. Consult your doctor to learn how to properly use you're particular ketorolac product. If you are using other kind about eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications. do not apply this more often or continue using this for longer than prescribed. this drug should not be placed in eye while wearing contact lenses. Consult you're pharmacist.

    Acular side effects: this medication may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for minute or 2 when applied. other side effects reported include eye irritation & increased tearing. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your healthcare professional promptly. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for period after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your doctor promptly if you develop: skin rash, eye pain, vision problems. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it med, seek healthcare professional attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash/redness of the eye, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. Persons wearing soft contact lenses may experience eye irritation, redness and burning. If this occurs, notify your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Acular Precautions: Tell you're healthcare professional you're medical history, including: bleeding disorders, previous eye surgery, certain eye diseases (cornea-related), diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, liver or kidney disease, asthma, nasal polyps, any allergies - especially aspirin/NSAID allergy (e.g., ibuprofen, celecoxib). this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Use during late pregnancy should be avoided. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. It's unknown if it drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.

    Acular pill interactions: Tell you're doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, including: other eye meds, another NSAID pills (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, clopidogrel), steroid drugs (e.g., prednisone), blood thinners (e.g., warfarin, dipyridamole, heparin). do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Acular Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Acular special notes: do not share this drug with others.

    If you missed Acular dose: If you instructed to use it drug on a regular schedule: use missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is near clock of following dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Acular Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Discard this if the solution turns color, cloudy or contains particles.
