    Genpril Usage: Ibuprofen is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which relieves pain and swelling (inflammation). it is used to treat headaches, muscle aches, backaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, arthritis, or athletic injuries. this tablet is also used to reduce fever & to relieve minor aches and pain due to the common cold or flu. this medication works by blocking the enzyme in some your body that makes prostaglandins. Decreasing prostaglandins helps to reduce pain, swelling, and fever.

    How to use Genpril: Take it med by mouth with full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless youre doctor directs you otherwise. don't lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking it med. If stomach upset occurs while taking this medication, take it with food, milk, or an antacid. the dosage is based on you're medical condition & response to therapy. If repeat doses are needed, they usually given 6 or 8 hours apart; or as directed by youre physician. When ibuprofen is used in children, dose is based on your child's weight. Read the product instructions to find appropriate dose for your child's weight. Consult pharmacist or doctor if you have questions or if you need help in choosing appropriate dosage form. in certain conditions (e.g., arthritis), it may take up to two weeks, taken regularly, before full benefits of this drug take effect. If you use this medication for migraine headache, & the pain isn't relieved or worsens after the 1st dose, tell your healthcare professional immediately. since nonprescription ibuprofen goods: If you are treating yourself or giving it med to children since undiagnosed fever or pain, consult the physician immediately if symptoms do not improve within 24 hours, worsen or last for more than 3 days, or if new symptoms appear.

    Genpril side effects: Upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, headache, diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness, and dizziness may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Tell you're doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: stomach pain, swelling of the hands or feet, sudden or unexplained weight gain, ringing in ears (tinnitus). Tell your doctor immediately if any about these unlikely but serious side effects occur: vision changes, rapid or pounding heartbeat, easy bruising or bleeding. Tell your pharmacist immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: change in amount of urine, severe headache, very stiff neck, mental/mood changes, persistent sore throat or fever. it drug may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from stomach or intestines. If you notice any of the next unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen and consult you're healthcare professional or healthcare professional immediately: black stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds. this medication may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. If you notice any of the following highly unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen & consult you're healthcare professional or pharmacist immediately: yellowing eyes and skin, dark urine, unusual/extreme tiredness. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

    Genpril Precautions: this drug should not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using this medicine, consult your healthcare professional or physician if you have: severe kidney disease, allergies to aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib). Before using this medication, tell your physician or healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, poorly controlled diabetes, stomach problems (e.g., bleeding, ulcers), heart disease (e.g., congestive heart failure), HBP, swelling (edema, fluid retention), dehydration, blood disorders (e.g., anemia), bleeding or clotting problems, asthma, growths in nose (nasal polyps), history of an allergic reaction with symptoms of lip/tongue/throat swelling (angioedema), any allergies in addition to those listed above. this drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. it medicine may cause stomach bleeding. daily use of alcohol & tobacco, especially when combined with this medicine, may increase your risk for stomach bleeding. Consult youre pharmacist or pharmacist for more information. this medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths or sunlamps. Use sunscreen & wear protective clothing when outdoors. Caution is advised when using this drug at elderly because they may be more sensitive to the side effects of the medication, especially stomach bleeding & kidney effects. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during 1st 6 months of pregnancy. It's not recommended for use during the last 3 months of pregnancy due to the potential for serious harm & interference with normal labor/delivery. Discuss the risks & benefits with your physician. it drug passes into breast milk. While theyre have been no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.

    Genpril drug interactions: Before using this medication, tell your doctor or physician of every prescription and nonprescription products you may use, especially of: alendronate, other drugs since arthritis (e.g., aspirin, methotrexate), 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), cyclosporine, high blood pressure drugs (including ACE inhibitors such as captopril, angiotensin II receptor antagonists such as losartan, & beta-blockers such as metoprolol), lithium, other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib), 'water pills' (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, triamterene). money all prescription and nonprescription medicine labels carefully since many contain pain relievers/fever reducers (NSAIDs such as aspirin or naproxen) which similar to this drug. If you also taking aspirin, as prescribed by youre doctor for reasons such as heart attack or stroke prevention (usually these dosages 81-325 mg per day), continue to take the aspirin & consult you're physician or pharmacist before taking ibuprofen. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.

    Genpril Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, trouble breathing, extreme drowsiness, loss of consciousness, or seizures.

    Genpril special notes: do not share this medication with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed periodically to monitor your progress or check for side effects. Consult youre pharmacist for more details.

    If you missed Genpril dose: If you prescribed it drug on regular schedule (not just 'as needed') and you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near time of the following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

    Genpril Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light & moisture. do not store at bathroom. Keep all medicines away from child and pets.
