Blephamide S O P Usage: this drug is used to treat or prevent eye infections.
How to use Blephamide S O P: for best effect, this pill must be used routinely as directed. Continue using it for the full time prescribed. Stopping this pill too soon may not clear infection and could possibly result in a reinfection. To apply ointment, wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the tip about the tube to your hand or eye. Warm tube in your hand before using. Tilt some your head back, gaze upward and pull down lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place tip of tube directly over the pouch & apply prescribed amount of ointment. Blink gently. do not rinse the tip of the tube. Use clean tissue to wipe any excess from your eye & from the tip of tube after using. If you are also using drops, be sure to instill the drops at least three minutes prior to ointment. If you are using another kind about ointment, wait at least ten minutes before applying it to eye. do not wear contact lenses while using this product.
Blephamide S O P side effects: this med may temporarily sting your eyes since minute or 2 when you first use it. If stinging persists or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable after applying this ointment. Use caution when driving or performing duties that require clear vision. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: a skin rash, itching/red- ness/swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Blephamide S O P Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: other eye problems, contact lens use, any allergies. it drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. Consult with your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Blephamide S O P drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription pill you may use, especially: other eye medicine. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.
Blephamide S O P Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Blephamide S O P special notes: If the tube is first warmed in hand prior to use, the ointment will flow more easily.
If you missed Blephamide S O P dose: Apply the missed dose as soon as remembered unless Its nearly time for the following dose. If it is near time for following dose, skip missed dose & resume your regular dosing schedule.
Blephamide S O P Storage: Store this drug at room temperature away from heat and sunlight. Avoid freezing it.
