Corticosteroids - ophthalmic drops

Maxidex Usage: this pill is used to treat swelling and itching of the eye (ophthalmic).

How to use Maxidex: Use it as prescribed. To apply eye pill, wash hands 1-st. Be careful not to touch dropper tip or let it touch affected region to avoid contamination. Shake suspension form well before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer prescribed number of drops. watch downward and gently close youre eye for 1 to 2 minutes. If you using another kind about eye medication, wait five to ten minutes before applying.

Maxidex side effects: the side effects listed assume short-term use of it medication. this drug may temporarily sting when first applied. If it persists or becomes bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred after applying eye drug. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your physician if you develop: skin rash, itching, redness or swelling at or around the eyes. Very unlikely effects: persistent vision problems, watering eyes, eye pain. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Maxidex Precautions: Before using it drug, tell you're doctor: any allergies, infections, eye problems. Using contact lenses during treatment with this medication may increase the chance of developing an eye infection. Prolonged use may result at glaucoma, cataracts, & another eye problems. Consult youre doctor or pharmacist. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. Consult you're doctor if breast-feeding.

Maxidex drug interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription and nonprescription drug you use. don't start or stop any medicine with-out physician or pharmacist approval.

Maxidex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Maxidex special notes: If condition since which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, consult your physician.

If you missed Maxidex dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use if It's almost time since next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Maxidex Storage: Store in room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
