Corticosteroids - ophthalmic drops

Hms Usage: it drug is used to treat swelling & itching of eye (ophthalmic).

How to use Hms: Use it as prescribed. To apply eye drug, wash hands 1st. Be careful not to touch dropper tip or let this touch the affected area to avoid contamination. Shake suspension form well before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and administer prescribed number of drops. watch downward & gently close your eye for 1 to two minutes. If you are using another kind of eye medication, wait five to ten minutes before applying.

Hms side effects: side effects listed assume short-term use about this medication. this medication may temporarily sting when 1-st applied. If it persists or becomes bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Vision may be temporarily blurred after applying eye medication. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, itching, redness or swelling in or around the eyes. Very unlikely effects: persistent vision problems, watering eyes, eye pain. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or healthcare professional.

Hms Precautions: Before using this pill, tell you're doctor: any allergies, infections, eye problems. Using contact lenses during treatment with it pill may increase chance of developing an eye infection. Prolonged use may result in glaucoma, cataracts, & other eye problems. Consult you're doctor or physician. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your pharmacist. Consult you're doctor if breast-feeding.

Hms medication interactions: Tell youre doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drug you use. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.

Hms Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Hms special notes: If condition since which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, consult you're pharmacist.

If you missed Hms dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use if this is almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Hms Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
