Warning: this medication may be absorbed in to the bloodstream and may sometimes cause severe (in few cases, fatal) intestinal problems (pseudomembranous colitis). Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more following info. Notify your doctor immediately if you develop persistent diarrhea, abdominal or stomach pain, or blood/mucous at youre stool. your physician will decide if you require other treatment. These symptoms may occur weeks after stopping use of this drug. do not use anti-diarrhea products or narcotic pain medications if you have these symptoms. These goods may make the symptoms worse. your doctor will monitor you closely while you are using this tablet.

Cleocin Usage: this tablet is an anti-infective used to treat certain vaginal infections.
How to use Cleocin: this med is for vaginal use only. Fill applicator with cream. Insert the applicator high into vagina & press the plunger to release the medication. Clean applicator with warm soapy water & rinse well. detailed instruction sheet should be provided with drug. Review instructions & be sure to ask your doctor or physician if you have any questions. Continue using this medication for as long as prescribed to ensure infection is cleared. Stopping therapy too soon may result in reinfection.
Cleocin side effects: it medication may cause vaginal itching or burning. These effects should disappear as your body adjusts to the medication. other side effects reported include nausea, heartburn, headache & dizziness. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, contact your pharmacist. Notify your doctor if you develop: a skin rash, vaginal irritation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.
Cleocin Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: colitis or enteritis, allergies (especially to antibiotics). this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. it is not known whether vaginal forms of this drug pass into breast milk. Oral and injectable forms pass at to breast milk. Because of the potential risk to infant, breast-feeding while using this drug is not recommended. Consult some your physician before breast-feeding.
Cleocin drug interactions: Tell you're doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. Avoid use of vaginal douches while taking it pill. this pill contains mineral oil which can weaken and damage latex or rubber products such as condoms or diaphragms. Thus, such goods should be avoided while taking it med. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Cleocin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Cleocin special notes: this medication isn't contraceptive agent. It's advised to avoid vaginal sexual intercourse during treatment with this med to prevent reinfection.
If you missed Cleocin dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if this is near the clock since following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Cleocin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light.
