Iopidine Usage: it medication reduces pressure in eye. it is used in treatment about glaucoma.
How to use Iopidine: this drug is for use in eyes only. it is applied 3 times per day. Use this as directed. do not apply it more often or continue using this for longer than prescribed. Apply eye drops to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper tip or let it touch your eye. Shake eye drops well before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer prescribed number of drops. look downward & gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner of eye near nose and apply gentle pressure. this will prevent drug from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink and do not rub the eye. do not rinse the dropper. Wash hands after use. If you are using another kind about eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
Iopidine side effects: Raising about upper eyelid, paleness of eye or lining of eyelid, increase in pupil size about eye, inflamed eye, headache; or burning, itching or irritated eyes may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for some minutes after applying drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify youre healthcare professional if you develop: irregular heartbeat, eye pain, changes in vision, stomach upset, dry mouth, sweating, shortness about breath, tingling of hands or feet. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Iopidine Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: other eye problems, HBP, heart disease, allergies (especially to clonidine). it drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks & benefits with some your physician.
Iopidine drug interactions: Tell your physician of all drugs you use (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, moclobemide, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.
Iopidine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow heartbeat, drowsiness, or very cold skin. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Iopidine special notes: do not share it product with others.
If you missed Iopidine dose: If you miss dose, apply this as soon as remembered unless It's nearing time for you're following dose. in that case, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' on the dose in order to catch up.
Iopidine Storage: Close container tightly after each use. Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not freeze. Discard this if the solution turns color, cloudy or contains particles.
