Benzoyl peroxide - topical

Benzagel 5 Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.

How to use Benzagel three: this medication is for topical use on the affected region only. Avoid using this in the eyes, mouth & nose, & on inflamed or damaged skin. liquid wash or bar soap is used instead of soap once or twice a day. Wet the skin before applying this. Gently work up lather and rinse thoroughly. do not scrub the skin. Creams, lotions or gels usually applied one time or twice a day to affected area. small amount is applied to affected region and rubbed in gently. Pads: Wash the affected region of skin with a mild cleanser and water then dry this. following apply the pad, usually once or twice day to skin as directed.

Benzagel 5 side effects: Slight stinging, dryness & peeling may occur initially. Expect this. However, notify your doctor if following effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Benzagel three Precautions: Tell you're doctor youre medical history, especially: other skin problems, any allergies. this medication may bleach hair & colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use of benzoyl peroxide in children under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician. It's not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Though they're have no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Benzagel 5 tablet interactions: Tell your doctor of all medicines you may use, both prescription & nonprescription, especially: another skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Benzagel 5 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Benzagel three special notes: this drug is available in much forms such as lotion, cream, gel or cleanser & in various strengths (2.5% to 10%). few can be purchased without a prescription. Discuss the various products with your doctor or physician to determine the best one for you.

If you missed Benzagel three dose: Use missed dose as soon as you remember and resume your regular dosing schedule.

Benzagel 5 Storage: Store between 59 & 76 degrees F (15 & 24.4 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight.
