Ciloxan Usage: it medication is quinolone antibiotic used for eye infections.

How to use Ciloxan: for best results, use exactly as directed for the full clock prescribed. Stopping this med too soon may result in relapse of the infection. To apply eye drops, wash hands first. To avoid contamination, don't let the dropper tip touch any surface. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and instill prescribed number of drops. see downward & gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at corner of the eye near the nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent drug from draining away from eye. Try not to blink & do not rub the eye. don't rinse dropper. If you are using another kinds of eye drops, wait in least five minutes before applying the another medications. do not wear contact lenses while you using this medicine. Sterilize contact lenses according to manufacturer's directions and cash with your physician before using them. Inform your healthcare professional if your condition does not improve in 7 days.

Ciloxan side effects: Blurred vision, eye dryness, watery eyes, bad taste in mouth, eye irritation/stinging, feeling as if something is in the eye may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: swelling in or around eyes. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.

Ciloxan Precautions: it medication shouldnot be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using this medicine, consult you're doctor or doctor if you have: allergies to quinolone antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin. Before using it medication, tell your healthcare professional or physician your medical history, especially about: contact lens use, other allergies. Because vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable after applying, use caution driving or performing activities requiring clear vision. Use of it medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in secondary infection. it drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. it isnt known if this medication is excreted into breast milk. Consult some your physician before breast-feeding.

Ciloxan tablet interactions: Tell some your healthcare professional of every prescription & nonprescription meds you may use, especially of: other antibiotics, other eye medications. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Ciloxan Overdose: topical overdose of this product may be flushed from the eyes with warm tap water.

Ciloxan special notes: this medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. don't use it later for other infection unless told to do so by your doctor. a different medication may be necessary at those cases. don't share this tablet with others.

If you missed Ciloxan dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use if Its almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.

Ciloxan Storage: Store this medicine at refrigerator or at room temperature between 36 & 77 degrees F (between two & 25 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't freeze. do not store in the bathroom. Discard solution if it changes color, cloudy, or contains particles. Keep every medicines away from children and pets.
