Urispas Usage: this medication relaxes muscles of urinary tract. It's used to relieve pain, burning, urinary urgency & frequency and another symptoms associated with urinary tract infections, bladder infections & prostate infections.
How to use Urispas: this medication is taken by mouth 3 or four times day as directed. Take this with food if stomach upset occurs.
Urispas side effects: Nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, & nervousness may occur the 1st some days as your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. Notify you're doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, fever, eye pain, mental confusion, skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.
Urispas Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: kidney problems, stomach or intestinal disorders, glaucoma, allergies. Because this medication can cause drowsiness or blurred vision, use caution driving or performing tasks requiring alertness. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your pharmacist. this is not known if it medication appears at breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Urispas medication interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you take, especially of: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Urispas Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unusually dry mouth; excessive thirst; nausea; vomiting; difficulty breathing; blurred vision; dilated pupils; flushed, hot, dry skin; muscle weakness; unusual dizziness or drowsiness; restlessness; disorientation; & seizures.
Urispas special notes: it tablet relieves the symptoms about the infection and must be taken along with an antibiotic which will treat the infection itself.
If you missed Urispas dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Urispas Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
