Duphalac Usage: this drug is laxative used to treat constipation.
Duphalac can be used also for: Lactulose may also be used to treat & prevent complications of liver disease (hepatic encephalopathy).
How to use Duphalac: this drug is taken by mouth. To improve the taste, dose may be mixed in a glass of fruit juice, water or milk. Take this medication as prescribed.
Duphalac side effects: it medication may cause gas, belching or stomach cramps. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre pharmacist. Notify youre pharmacist if you develop any of these effects while taking it drug: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.
Duphalac Precautions: this medication must be used cautiously at children & the elderly. If diarrhea results, notify youre pharmacist. a dosage adjustment may be necessary. do not take any other laxative medications while taking it drug. Frequent or excessive use about laxatives can cause dehydration. Symptoms include: muscle weakness, muscle cramps, dizziness. it pill must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. It's not known if this drug appears in breast milk. Consult with your physician before breast-feeding. this med contains galactose and lactose. Be sure to tell your doctor if you have diabetes.
Duphalac med interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription medications you may use, especially about: antibiotics (e.g., neomycin), antacids, other laxatives. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Duphalac Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include stomach cramps & diarrhea.
Duphalac special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Duphalac dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered; don't use if It's almost time since the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Duphalac Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Avoid freezing.
