Lorazepam Intensol Usage: Lorazepam is used for certain cases of anxiety, seizures, & sleeping trouble (insomnia).

Lorazepam Intensol can be used also for: this medication may also be used since tension headaches, alcohol withdrawal, or as pre-op medicine (before medical procedures) to minimize nausea, vomiting, & anxiety. it can also be used for other purposes as determined by some your doctor.

How to use Lorazepam Intensol: this form of lorazepam is to be taken by mouth. for accurate dosing, use only calibrated dropper provided. Its recommended this med be mixed with at least 2 tablespoons (30 ml; 1 ounce) of liquid or semi-solid foods such as water, juice, soda, applesauce or pudding. Stir at one dose and mix gently for few seconds. After preparing one dose, drink or eat entire mixed amount immediately. do not mix more than one dose to save for later use. your dosage is based on your medical condition & response to the tablet. Use this drug exactly as prescribed. do not increase your dose, take it more frequently, or use it for a longer period of clock than prescribed because this tablet can be habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period of clock (several weeks), don't suddenly stop using this drug without your doctor's approval. When used for an extended period, this drug may not work as well and may require different dosing. talk with your healthcare professional if this medication stops working well.

Lorazepam Intensol side effects: this drug can cause drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, grogginess, headache, nausea, dry mouth, temporary memory loss, or vision changes. If any about these effects persist or worsen, contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional promptly. Tell your pharmacist immediately if you have any of these unlikely but serious side effects: confusion, depression, agitation, yellowing of eyes or skin, unusual tiredness, unusual bleeding or bruising. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate healthcare attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

Lorazepam Intensol Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist your medical history, especially: kidney problems, liver problems, lung problems, glaucoma, muscle disorders, depression or psychiatric conditions, substance abuse problems, any allergies. this drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; avoid alcoholic beverages & use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Elderly patients may be more sensitive to the effects of it medication. Use with caution. it drug isnt recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult youre doctor for more details. Lorazepam passes into breast milk & may have undesirable effects on nursing infant. Consult your healthcare professional before breast- feeding.

Lorazepam Intensol tablet interactions: Tell youre doctor or physician about all prescription & nonprescription medications you may use, especially: narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping tablets, drugs used for mental/emotional conditions, seizure drugs (e.g., carbamazepine, phenytoin, valproic acid), antihistamines that cause drowsiness (e.g., diphenhydramine), scopolamine, probenecid, muscle relaxants. check the labels on all your medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products) because they may contain drowsiness-causing ingredients. Ask your healthcare professional about safe use about those products. Avoid use about alcohol while using lorazepam because extreme drowsiness can occur. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.

Lorazepam Intensol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include confusion, slow reflexes, clumsiness, deep sleep, & loss about consciousness.

If you missed Lorazepam Intensol dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as remembered. If Its near the time since the following dose, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

Lorazepam Intensol Storage: Refrigerate between 36-46 degrees F (2-8 degrees C). this product is stable for 30 days when stored at controlled room temperature between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C).
