Warning: children & teenagers should not use aspirin, aspirin- containing or aspirin-related medications for flu symptoms or chickenpox without first consulting pharmacist. a rare but serious illness known as Reye's syndrome may occur.
Robaxisal Usage: this combination drug is used to relieve pain and discomfort associated with muscle pain (musculoskeletal).
How to use Robaxisal: Take it med by mouth with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Take this drug with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless your healthcare professional directs you otherwise. do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this med. Take this medication exactly as prescribed. do not increase the dose or take it more often or continue taking this for longer than prescribed.
Robaxisal side effects: Stomach upset, headache, blurred vision, drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform youre doctor promptly. Notify your healthcare professional promptly if you develop: rapid heart rate, fainting, black stools, dark urine, yellowing eyes, hearing problems, simple bruising, mental confusion, hallucinations. it medication can cause you're urine to turn green-black in color. this harmless effect is temporary & will disappear when the med is stopped. in unlikely episode you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, breathing trouble. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Robaxisal Precautions: Tell youre doctor some your medical history, especially about: kidney or liver disease, blood disorders, prostate or bladder problems, myasthenia gravis, ulcers or intestinal problems, glaucoma, nasal polyps, asthma, any allergies. this medication contains aspirin. child and teenagers should not take aspirin if they have chickenpox, influenza or any undiagnosed illness without first consulting pharmacist about Reye's syndrome, rare but serious illness. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcohol intake. this medicine may cause stomach bleeding. per day use of alcohol, especially when combined with this medicine, may increase some your risk for stomach bleeding. check with you're doctor or pharmacist since more info. Aspirin isn't recommended since use during pregnancy. Consult some your doctor before using this drug. this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult youre physician before breast-feeding.
Robaxisal drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every over-the-counter & prescription medication you may use including: medication for depression or seizures, all pain relievers, 'blood thinners' (anticoagulants & antiplatelet drugs such as heparins, warfarin, NSAIDs), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), methotrexate, sleeping meds or sedatives. Aspirin is an ingredient at many over-the-counter goods. To prevent an overdose about aspirin, read the labels carefully before taking other pain relievers or cold products to be sure they do not contain aspirin. Consult your physician if you are uncertain your over-the-counter products contain aspirin. do not start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Robaxisal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include rapid breathing, vomiting, stomach pain, ringing in the ears, restlessness, & seizures.
Robaxisal special notes: it drug is used in addition to rest, physical therapy or other measures prescribed to relieve your condition. since this medication may make you temporarily feel better, do not engage in exercise or heavy lifting until recovery is complete as this may cause further muscle damage; follow your doctor's orders.
If you missed Robaxisal dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Robaxisal Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
