Robaxin Usage: this med relaxes muscles & relieves pain & discomfort associated with strains, sprains, spasms or other muscle injuries.
How to use Robaxin: it medication must be administered as directed by some your healthcare professional. Use this as directed. don't increase your dose or take it more often than prescribed.
Robaxin side effects: can cause stomach upset, heartburn, constipation, headache, dizziness or drowsiness the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms persist or become severe, notify you're healthcare professional. Inform youre pharmacist if you develop: persistent stomach pain, skin rash, itching, rapid heart rate, yellowing of the eyes or skin, uncontrolled eye movements, convulsions, pain or skin peeling at injection site. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.
Robaxin Precautions: Use caution when arising from a sitting or lying position because dizziness or lightheadedness may occur. Change positions slowly and use caution on stairs. Avoid activities requiring alertness if dizziness or drowsiness occurs. Limit intake about alcoholic beverages. Alcohol adds to the drowsiness, dizziness & lightheadedness caused by medication. women who are pregnant (or may become pregnant) or breast-feeding should tell their physicians before taking methocarbamol.
Robaxin drug interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: sedatives, tranquilizers, narcotic pain med, sleeping pills, anti- seizure drugs, antidepressants, drugs used for allergies/hay fever/colds. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Robaxin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea or vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, unusual drowsiness or dizziness, & loss of consciousness.
Robaxin special notes: do not allow anyone else to take this drug. this medication provides temporary relief & must be used in addition to rest, physical therapy & another measures.
If you missed Robaxin dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered if It's within a hour or so. If you do not remember until later, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the doses.
Robaxin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C).
