Chlorzoxazone Usage: this medication relaxes muscles & relieves pain and discomfort associated with strains, sprains, spasms or other muscle injuries.

How to use Chlorzoxazone: Take orally by mouth exactly as directed by your healthcare professional, usually 3 to 4 times daily. Dosage depends on your response & condition. do not increase your dose, take it more frequently or use it for a longer period than prescribed. Take with food if stomach upset occurs.

Chlorzoxazone side effects: may cause stomach upset, heartburn, constipation, headache, dizziness or drowsiness. If these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor. Inform you're physician if you develop signs of liver problems such as: yellowing about eyes or skin, fever, unusual fatigue. May discolor urine. it will disappear when med is stopped. in unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or pharmacist.

Chlorzoxazone Precautions: Before using it tablet, tell your doctor your medical history, especially about: liver problems, stomach or intestinal problems, any drug allergies. Because this drug can cause drowsiness & dizziness, limit alcohol intake. Use caution when performing tasks that require alertness, such as driving. Chlorzoxazone must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. it is not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Chlorzoxazone drug interactions: Tell your physician of every over-the-counter & prescription medication you may use, especially of medications that can cause dizziness or drowsiness such as: narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), sleep med, certain antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine), alcohol-containing tablets, drugs used for mood/mental conditions. much cough-and-cold preparations contain ingredients that may add to the drowsiness effects of chlorzoxazone. Consult your physician or pharmacist before using any such tablets. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.

Chlorzoxazone Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, unusual drowsiness or dizziness, lightheadedness, and headache.

Chlorzoxazone special notes: it med provides temporary relief & must be used in addition to rest, physical therapy and other measures. don't allow others to use this medication.

If you missed Chlorzoxazone dose: If you should miss dose, take this as soon as remembered unless Its almost time since next dose. If It's nearly time for the following dose, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.

Chlorzoxazone Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store at bathroom.
