Gantrisin Usage: Sulfonamides (sulfa drugs) antibiotics used to treat wide variety of bacterial infections.
How to use Gantrisin: Take each dose with full glass of water. Drink plenty of water while on this medication. liquid suspension form about it medicine must be shaken well before using. Antibiotics work best when amount of medicine in your body is kept in a constant level. Do this by taking medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and night. Continue to take this tablet until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after some days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in relapse of infection.
Gantrisin side effects: this medication may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, headache or vomiting during the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms persist or become severe, inform your healthcare professional. this drug may increase sensitivity to sunlight. Notify your physician if you're condition worsens or you develop: simple bruising. rarely, it medication can cause serious, even fatal, side effects such as severe peeling skin rash known as Stevens- Johnson syndrome, blood disorders (e.g., agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia), or liver damage. Seek immeditial healthcare professional attention if you develop any of following symptoms: skin rash or blisters, unusual fatigue, persistent sore throat or fever, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, abdominal pain. in unlikely chapter you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or doctor.

Gantrisin drug interactions: Tell youre physician of all medicines you may use (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: warfarin, methotrexate, cyclosporine, certain oral drugs for diabetes (sulfonylureas), phenytoin, oral PABA. this pill may interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using other methods about birth control with your physician. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Gantrisin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include loss about appetite, nausea/vomiting, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, unconsciousness, fever, pain while urinating, or bruising.
Gantrisin special notes: It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it drug unless your healthcare professional directs you otherwise. it medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. do not use this later for other infection or give this to someone else. a different medication may be needed at those cases.
If you missed Gantrisin dose: If you should miss dose, take this as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose. If it is nearly time for next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.
Gantrisin Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms.
