Sulfamethoxazole Trimethoprim Usage: it antibiotic is used to treat wide variety of infections including urinary tract infections, middle ear infections and respiratory tract infections, including pneumocystis pneumonia.
How to use Sulfamethoxazole Trimethoprim: Take each dose with full glass about water. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk. the liquid suspension form about this medicine must be shaken well before each dose. Drink plenty of fluids while taking it medication unless some your physician directs you otherwise. Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Do this by taking the drug at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and night. Continue to take it drug until full prescribed amount is finished. Stopping medication too early may result in relapse about infection.
Sulfamethoxazole Trimethoprim side effects: it medication can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, headache or vomiting. If any of these effects persist or become severe, inform some your healthcare professional. the sulfa in this combination medication may increase sensitivity to sunlight. If you missed Sulfamethoxazole Trimethoprim dose: If you should miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered unless this is almost time for following dose. If this is nearly time for following dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
