Plan B Usage: this tablet is used to help prevent pregnancy in girl who have had unprotected sex (intercourse) or suspect a failure in their current form of birth control (e.g., broken condom). it isnot intended to be used for routine birth control and will not stop an existing pregnancy (abortion).
How to use Plan B: Take one pill of this med by mouth as soon possible, but within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected intercourse. Take the second pill by mouth 12 hours after taking 1st dose. However, youre doctor may instruct you to take this drug different way. Please follow the directions provided by your physician closely. this medication can be used at any clock during your menstrual cycle. If you vomit within one hour about taking ether dose of it medication, contact your pharmacist to discuss whether to repeat dose.
Plan B side effects: Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, dizziness, breast tenderness, tiredness & weakness, headache, menstrual changes, & diarrhea may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional. Tell some your healthcare professional immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: low stomach/abdominal pain If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Plan B Precautions: Tell some your doctor you're medical history, especially of: diabetes, possible pregnancy, unusual vaginal bleeding, allergies (especially to birth control pills). Tell your doctor if your normal menstrual period is late by at least 1 week. this medication isnot recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your doctor for more details. it medication passes into breast milk. While theyre have been no reports about harm to nursing infants, consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Plan B med interactions: Tell you're physician of all prescription and nonprescription drug you may use, especially of: other birth control meds (e.g., oral contraceptives, implants), anti- seizure medications (e.g., carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin), rifampin. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
Plan B Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, & vaginal bleeding.
Plan B special notes: do not share it medication with others. As with other oral contraceptives, this med does not protect or prevent against HIV & other sexually transmitted diseases.

Plan B Storage: Store at room temperature at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) is permitted.
