Xylocaine Viscous Usage: this tablet is topical anesthetic which numbs the mucous membranes (skin) of the mouth & throat. Its used to relieve pain & discomfort of certain mouth & throat problems.
How to use Xylocaine Viscous: it tablet is taken by mouth. Shake the bottle well before measuring each dose carefully. If you are taking this for a sore mouth, swish drug in you're mouth for a minute then spit it out. do not swallow medication. If this is being used for sore throat, gargle with the med for a minute, then swallow it. do not drink water or any liquids right after taking it drug & avoid eating any food for in least 1 hour since this medication will numb your tongue & affect swallowing. this is important to not eat or chew gum while you're mouth is numb to prevent choking or biting your tongue. do not increase your dose or use this more often than prescribed without your doctor's approval.
Xylocaine Viscous side effects: Minor stinging, burning and tenderness about the mouth and throat may occur when this is first used. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if next effects occur: irritation, rash, redness. Dizziness, lightheadedness, vomiting & seizures have occurred in child when large amounts about this medication have been swallowed. Use caution when giving this medication to children. in unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, breathing trouble. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.
Xylocaine Viscous Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history especially: heart problems, any infections or open wounds where the drug is to be administered, severe liver disease, any allergies. Before using this medication, notify your physician if you are pregnant. it pill passes in to breast milk. Though the risk of harm to nursing infant is very small, consult some your doctor before breast-feeding.
Xylocaine Viscous drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Xylocaine Viscous Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

If you missed Xylocaine Viscous dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Xylocaine Viscous Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture. Avoid freezing.
