    Xylocaine Im for Cardiac Usage: this drug is used to treat irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias).

    Xylocaine Im for Cardiac can be used also for: this medication may also be used for resistant seizure treatment.

    How to use Xylocaine Im for Cardiac: this drug is generally given by vein (IV). it may also be given in large muscle (IM - in the shoulder usually) for one or two doses if necessary. Generally 50-100mg is given 1-st IV, then repeated if necessary. this dosing is followed by continuous IV therapy (1-4 mg per minute typically). Doses may need to be reduced in people with heart failure or liver problems.

    Xylocaine Im for Cardiac side effects: Pain at the site about injection might occur. If this persists or worsens, notify your pharmacist. Unlikely but report promptly: drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, shakiness, mental changes, ringing in the ears, visual changes, nausea, tingling or numbness, slurred speech, muscle twitching, unusually slow heartbeat, seizures. Notify your pharmacist immediately if an allergic reaction occurs. Symptoms include: difficulty breathing, skin rash, itching, swelling. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Xylocaine Im for Cardiac Precautions: Before using it med, tell your healthcare professional you're medical history, including: allergies (especially medication allergies), heart problems, liver disease, severe lung problems. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're doctor. it drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult some your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Xylocaine Im since Cardiac med interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional of every nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially about: cimetidine, other drugs used for irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias) such as phenytoin, procainamide, quinidine, propranolol. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.

    Xylocaine Im for Cardiac Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include seizures, shortness about breath, and slow heartbeat.

    Xylocaine Im for Cardiac special notes: it medication may interfere with laboratory tests (CK & CPK) when given by injection into muscle (IM). EKG & other heart monitoring will occur during therapy.

    If you missed Xylocaine Im for Cardiac dose: If dose is missed or IV is interrupted, notify your physician or pharmacist promptly.

    Xylocaine Im for Cardiac Storage: Store at controlled room temperature away from light & moisture.
