Metrolotion Usage: this medication is used topically to treat inflammation due to certain skin infections (e.g., rosacea).
How to use Metrolotion: Clean & dry affected region before applying the drug. To apply, gently rub a small thin vid of the medication to the affected area & surrounding skin as directed. it may take about three weeks before any improvement is seen & up to nine weeks since full benefit. If no improvement is seen after three weeks, consult your doctor. Avoid using this drug around the eye area.
Metrolotion side effects: this medication may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to skin. this should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the drug. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Tell you're doctor immediately if you have any of these unlikelybut serious side effects: tingling or numbness about the hands & feet. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Metrolotion Precautions: Before using it drug, tell youre doctor your medical history especially of: blood disorders (blood dyscrasia). this medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. this medication is excreted into breast milk. Breast-feeding while using it medication isnt recommended. Consult with some your physician before breast-feeding.
Metrolotion drug interactions: Inform your pharmacist of all the medicines (both prescription & nonprescription) you use. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Metrolotion Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Metrolotion special notes: this medication is prescribed for youre current condition only. do not use it for another infection or share it with someone else. another infection later on may require different medication.
If you missed Metrolotion dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use if Its almost time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Metrolotion Storage: Store at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 to 25 degrees C) away from sunlight.
