Metrogel Vaginal Usage: it medication is an antibacterial used to treat certain vaginal infections.

How to use Metrogel Vaginal: this drug is for vaginal use only. Use this as directed, usually once in the morning and evening. Be sure to ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. Continue using it medication for as long as prescribed to ensure infection is cleared. Stopping therapy too soon may result in re-infection. Fill applicator provided with the drug. Insert the applicator high at to the vagina and press the plunger to release drug. Clean applicator with warm soapy water & rinse well.

Metrogel Vaginal side effects: this drug can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, nausea, stomach cramps, vaginal itching or burning. These effects should disappear as your body adjusts to the drug. If they continue or become bothersome, contact your pharmacist. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: vaginal yeast infection. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or pharmacist.

Metrogel Vaginal Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: seizures, liver disease, nervous system disease, allergies (especially to antibiotics). this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. since small amounts about metronidazole are found in breast milk, consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.

Metrogel Vaginal medication interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may take especially of: blood thinners, disulfiram. don't start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Metrogel Vaginal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Metrogel Vaginal special notes: Avoid drinking alcohol while using it drug. Serious side effects such as vomiting, stomach distress & vision problems may result. do not engage in vaginal intercourse while using this drug.

If you missed Metrogel Vaginal dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Metrogel Vaginal Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light.
