Topicort Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.

How to use Topicort: Clean & dry affected area before applying the drug. To apply, gently massage very small amount of the drug into the affected area & surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you are instructed to do so by you're pharmacist. don't use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with this med in diaper area. Avoid using this drug around eyes unless directed to do so by your healthcare professional.

Topicort side effects: this medication can cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1st applied to the skin. it must disappear at a few days as your body adjusts to drug. this medication may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. Skin infections can become worse when using it drug. Notify some your doctor if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Topicort Precautions: do not use this medication near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate and augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively is not recommended. do not use if their is an infection or sores present on the region to be treated. Though very unlikely, this is possible this medication will be absorbed into you're bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true since kid & for those who have used this since an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult your physician or doctor since more details. this drug should be used cautiously during pregnancy and only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits and risks with you're pharmacist. Small amounts of it medication may appear in breast milk. Consult with your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Topicort drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about all drugs you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially about: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.

Topicort Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Topicort special notes: Inform all youre pharmacists you use (or have used) this drug. don't share this medication with others.

If you missed Topicort dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Topicort Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
