Synalar Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.
How to use Synalar: Clean & dry the affected area before applying medication. To apply, gently massage a small amount of the medication into affected area & surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover area treated unless you instructed to do so by your physician. don't use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with this drug in diaper region. Avoid using it med around eyes unless directed to do so by your pharmacist.
Synalar side effects: this tablet may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when first applied to the skin. this must disappear in few days as your body adjusts to medication. this medication may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Skin infections can become worse when using this medication. Notify your pharmacist if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly next side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Synalar Precautions: do not use this drug near the eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate and augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively isnt recommended. don't use if there is an infection or sores present on region to be treated. Though very unlikely, it is possible this medication will be absorbed into some your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children & since those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this medication. Consult youre doctor or pharmacist for more following information. this drug should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits and risks with youre doctor. Small amounts of this med may appear in breast milk. Consult with your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Synalar pill interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of all drugs you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
Synalar Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Synalar special notes: Inform all your physicians you use (or have used) this medication. don't share it medication with others.
If you missed Synalar dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Synalar Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
