Corticosteroids - topical
Cloderm Usage: it med is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.
How to use Cloderm: Clean & dry affected area before applying the medication. To apply, gently massage a small amount of medication into the affected area and surrounding skin. don't bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you are instructed to do so by youre doctor. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on kid being treated with this drug in the diaper region. Avoid using it medication around the eyes unless directed to do so by your healthcare professional.
Cloderm side effects: it medication may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when first applied to skin. it must disappear at few days as your body adjusts to drug. this drug may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your physician. Skin infections can become worse when using it drug. Notify you're doctor if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Cloderm Precautions: do not use this medication near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate & augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively is not recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on area to be treated. Though very unlikely, this is possible this drug will be absorbed into youre bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. it is especially true for child & for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details. this drug should be used cautiously during pregnancy and only if clearly needed. Discuss the benefits & risks with some your pharmacist. Small amounts about this drug may appear in breast milk. Consult with your physician before breast-feeding.
Cloderm medication interactions: Tell your doctor of every medications you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.
Cloderm Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Cloderm special notes: Inform all you're physicians you use (or have used) this drug. do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Cloderm dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Cloderm Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in a medical emergency.
