Torecan Usage: it tablet is used to treat nausea & vomiting.
How to use Torecan: this med is injected into muscle (intramuscular) as prescribed. do not use this more much of times or increase some your dose without consulting your physician. your condition will not improve any faster but the risk of side effects will be increased.
Torecan side effects: Constipation, drowsiness, vision changes or dry mouth may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your physician. Unlikely to occur, but report promptly: restlessness, muscle stiffness, weakness, difficulty speaking, loss of balance, mask- love facial expression, trembling or shaking, dizziness, lip smacking or another uncontrollable movements, difficulty urinating, skin rash/discoloration. Very unlikely to occur, but report promptly: sore throat, unusual bleeding or bruising, stomach pain, yellowing of eyes or skin, dark urine, hot dry skin, vomiting. Though very unlikely to occur, notify your healthcare professional immediately if you experience any of following effects: severe muscle stiffness, confusion, fever, seizures, irregular/fast heartbeat, increased sweating, prolonged/painful erection. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.
Torecan Precautions: Tell youre physician some your medical history, especially of: liver disease, seizure disorders, blood disorders, glaucoma, parkinsonism, asthma, allergies. Because this med can cause drowsiness or dizziness, use caution operating machinery or engaging in activities requiring alertness. it tablet may make you more sensitive to the sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen when outdoors. it is recommended to avoid alcohol while using this medication. the manufacturer of this med states this drug shouldnot be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform your doctor immediately. It's not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Torecan med interactions: Tell you're doctor about every prescription & nonprescription meds you may use, especially of: anti- anxiety drugs, antidepressants, muscle relaxants, anti-seizure meds, high blood pressure meds, cabergoline, metrizamide, guanethidine, guanadrel, grepafloxacin, sparfloxacin, lithium, cisapride, atropine-like drugs, narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), drugs used to aid sleep, drowsiness-causing antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine), another drugs that make you drowsy. much of cough-and-cold products contain ingredients that may add drowsiness effect. Before using cough-and-cold drugs, ask your healthcare professional or pharmacist about the safe use of those products. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Torecan Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include muscle spasms of face or neck, confusion, seizures, lightheadedness, and slowed breathing.
Torecan special notes: this drug is also available as a suppository & tablet. do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Torecan dose: Use each dose at the scheduled clock. However, if you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if It's near the clock since next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Torecan Storage: Store this medication at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom. Keep this and all medications out about reach of children.
Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in medical emergency.
