Benzoyl peroxide - topical

Benzagel 10 Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.

How to use Benzagel 10: this medication is for topical use on affected area only. Avoid using this in eyes, mouth & nose, and on inflamed or damaged skin. the liquid wash or bar soap is used instead about soap once or twice a day. Wet the skin before applying this. Gently work up a lather & rinse thoroughly. do not scrub the skin. Creams, lotions or gels are usually applied once or twice a day to the affected region. a small amount is applied to affected area and rubbed in gently. Pads: Wash the affected area about skin with a mild cleanser and water than dry this. following apply the pad, usually once or 2 times day to skin as directed.

Benzagel 10 side effects: Slight stinging, dryness & peeling may occur initially. Expect it. However, notify your doctor if next effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.

Benzagel 10 Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially: other skin problems, any allergies. this drug may bleach hair & colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use of benzoyl peroxide in kid under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're doctor. It's not known if this drug is excreted in to breast milk. Though they're have no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Benzagel 10 drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of all medicines you may use, both prescription & nonprescription, especially: other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.

Benzagel 10 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Benzagel 10 special notes: this medication is available in many forms such as lotion, cream, gel or cleanser & at various strengths (2.5% to 10%). some canbe purchased with-out prescription. Discuss various products with your physician or pharmacist to determine the best one for you.

If you missed Benzagel 10 dose: Use missed dose as soon as you remember and resume your regular dosing schedule.

Benzagel 10 Storage: Store between 59 & 76 degrees F (15 & 24.4 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight.
