Trav Tabs Usage: Antihistamines are used to treat rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching, and sneezing due to allergies or the common cold. They may also be used to treat motion sickness, anxiety, or as a sleep aid (for insomnia).
How to use Trav Tabs: May be taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Sustained-release or long acting meds and capsules should be swallowed whole. Chewing or crushing them will destroy long action and may increase side effects. since chewable meds, chew thoroughly & swallow. Shake suspensions well before taking.
Trav Tabs side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, vision changes, irritability, dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as you're body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify you're healthcare professional if you develop: breathing difficulties, pounding or irregular heartbeat, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Trav Tabs Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially about: glaucoma (narrow angle), stomach ulcers, difficulty urinating (e.g., enlarged prostate), heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, lung problems, overactive thyroid. Change from seated or lying position slowly to avoid dizziness. Use caution in performing activities requiring alertness. Limit alcohol intake to avoid excessive drowsiness. Caution is advised when using this tablet in elderly because they may be more sensitive to effects of tablet. do not give long-acting antihistamines to kid younger than 12 years about age nor other dose forms of antihistamines to a children younger than 6 years about age with out healthcare professional approval. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. it med may be excreted in to breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Trav Tabs med interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of all meds you may use (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: sleeping meds, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, tablet for depression, seizure medications, narcotic pain relievers, other medications since colds/hay fever/allergies. Because it tablet may affect allergy testing, you may have to stop using it drug for several days before the tests performed. Consult you're healthcare professional about this. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or doctor approval.
Trav Tabs Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose at adults may include drowsiness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Trav Tabs dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time since following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Trav Tabs Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store at bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of this medication.
