    Magnesium supplement - oral

    Mag Delay Usage: Magnesium plays critical role in the body. Its essential for normal functioning of nerves, muscles and cells. Magnesium supplements used to treat or prevent low blood magnesium levels.

    Mag Delay can be used also for: it drug may also be used to prevent certain types of kidney stones.

    How to use Mag Delay: Take this medication orally as directed. it is best taken with or just after meal to improve absorption. Take each dose with full glass of water. Swallow sustained release tablets whole. do not crush or chew them.

    Mag Delay side effects: it med is generally well tolerated. Stomach upset, bloating, gas or diarrhea may occur, especially with higher doses. Notify you're physician if you experience: nausea, vomiting, any change at heart rate, flushing, faintness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Mag Delay Precautions: Tell some your physician your medical history, especially about: kidney disease, any allergies. this medication should be used as directed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.

    Mag Delay drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take especially: digoxin, penicillamine, any antibiotics. Avoid taking any tetracycline or quinolone antibiotic within 1 to two hours of taking magnesium since this may interfere with absorption of the antibiotic. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.

    Mag Delay Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow heartbeat, flushing, severe drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness, & loss of consciousness.

    Mag Delay special notes: Magnesium supplements are available in different forms which vary in amount of drug they contain. many available without a prescription. Ask your pharmacist or healthcare professional to help select best product for you. Foods rich in magnesium include avocados, bananas, beans, grains, green vegetables, roasted peanuts. Follow any dietary guidelines recommended.

    If you missed Mag Delay dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Mag Delay Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
