    Guaifenesin Pseudoephedrine Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

    How to use Guaifenesin Pseudoephedrine: Take this drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

    Guaifenesin Pseudoephedrine side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify some your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate it effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Guaifenesin Pseudoephedrine Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your physician. Its not known if it med appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Guaifenesin Pseudoephedrine drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, medication since high blood pressure. Tell you're physician if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last 2 weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Guaifenesin Pseudoephedrine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

    Guaifenesin Pseudoephedrine special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Guaifenesin Pseudoephedrine dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Guaifenesin Pseudoephedrine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
