Guaifenesin Pse Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination pill is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Guaifenesin Pse: Take this tablet by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew drug. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this tablet as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Guaifenesin Pse side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur first few days as your body adjusts to the drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify youre doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this drug can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or doctor.
Guaifenesin Pse Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. it pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. Its not known if it medication appears in breast milk; consult some your physician before breast-feeding.
Guaifenesin Pse med interactions: Tell youre physician of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, medication since high blood pressure. Tell your physician if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.
Guaifenesin Pse Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

If you missed Guaifenesin Pse dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Guaifenesin Pse Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
