Caladryl Usage: it med is an antihistamine used on skin to relieve itching associated with various skin disorders such as insect bites, sunburn or poison ivy.
How to use Caladryl: it medication is for topical use only. Clean & dry the affected area as directed. then apply a very small amount bit of the drug on skin. thin layer is all that is needed. Cover with a bandage if directed to do so. don't use large amounts or apply it more many times than directed. youre condition will not clear faster, but side effects may be increased. Use carefully if applying to face. Avoid contact with eyes, nose and mouth.
Caladryl side effects: it med may cause burning, redness, or rash. Notify your physician if you develop any of these symptoms occur. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Caladryl Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: another illnesses, other infections, any allergies. it drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with you're healthcare professional. it is not known if this tablet is found at breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Caladryl drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, especially of: skin products containing hydrocortisone. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Caladryl Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms about overdose may include abnormal eye movements, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, hyperactivity, bizarre behavior, or seizures.
Caladryl special notes: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a few days, notify your pharmacist.
If you missed Caladryl dose: If you miss dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not take this if this is near the time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Caladryl Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store at bathroom.
