Tussin Honey Usage: it medication is used to relieve dry cough & helps to loosen phlegm and mucous in lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.
How to use Tussin Honey: Take each dose of it medication with full glass of water. Water will also help break-up mucous and clear congestion. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your physician instructs you otherwise. do not take this medication for a chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by some your doctor. If cough lasts since more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, headache or rash, consult your pharmacist.
Tussin Honey side effects: it medication may cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or physician.
Tussin Honey Precautions: If you have any of the following health problems, consult your physician before using this med: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with youre pharmacist. it is not known if this drug is excreted in to breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Tussin Honey drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all the medicines you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially: other cough-and-cold medicines. Guaifenesin may affect results of certain lab tests. Be sure youre caregivers aware you use it medicine before lab tests are performed. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Tussin Honey Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, & unusually slow heartbeat.

If you missed Tussin Honey dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Tussin Honey Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms about this medication. do not store syrup in refrigerator.
