Warning: Mycophenolate decreases the body's ability to protect against illness/infections & may increase your risk of developing lymph node tumors (lymphomas). Therefore, this drug must only be taken under close medical supervision. Notify your healthcare professional immediately if you develop any signs about infection (e.g., persistent sore throat or fever), weight loss, night sweats, enlarged lymph nodes, or skin growths.

Cellcept Usage: Mycophenolate is used to prevent rejection about transplanted body organs (e.g., kidney, liver, or heart transplant). it works by suppressing the body's immune system & is usually used along with other drugs that suppress immune system (e.g., cyclosporine, prednisone).
How to use Cellcept: Take it medication by mouth usually twice daily without food; or take as directed by your doctor. the dosage & length about treatment is based on your medical condition & response to therapy. Shake the bottle well before each dose. Be careful not to get any of suspension on your skin or mucous membranes (e.g., eyes, open wounds). If such contact must occur, wash the affected skin region well with soap & water or rinse your eyes with plain water. Consult you're pharmacist for following text. this pill is usually prescribed along with other drugs (e.g., cyclosporine, corticosteroids) to prevent rejection of transplanted organs. Take every medications exactly as prescribed by your pharmacist. If you unclear of any of the next info, consult youre physician or physician. Avoid taking antacids containing magnesium or aluminum within 2 hours about taking this medicine. Antacids may affect absorption about this med if taken together.
Cellcept side effects: Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, white patches in the mouth or on the tongue (thrush), diarrhea, headache, acne, or mild dizziness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your physician promptly. Tell your physician immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: pain, sores around the mouth or genitals, vision changes, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, mental/mood changes, trouble sleeping, unusual bleeding or bruising, pain with urination, change in the amount of urine. Tell some your physician immediately if any about these unlikely but serious side effects occur: black/bloody stools, swollen glands, stomach pain, unusual weakness or tiredness, night sweats, unusual lumps or changes in skin color/appearance. this pill can lower the body's ability to fight an infection. Notify your doctor promptly if you develop any signs about an infection such as: fever, chills, persistent sore throat, cough. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate doctor attention if they occur. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice any other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or physician.
Cellcept Precautions: Tell your doctor youre medical history, especially of: ulcers or stomach problems (e.g., hemorrhage, perforation), kidney problems, liver problems, any allergies. it med may make you dizzy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. Because this drug can decrease your immune system function, do not have immunizations/vaccinations without the consent of your physician and avoid contact with poeple who have recently received live vaccines (e.g., oral polio vaccine). it medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, use sunscreen, and wear protective clothing when outdoors. it medicine may contain aspartame. If you have phenylketonuria (PKU) or any another condition where you must restrict your intake about aspartame (or phenylalanine), consult your physician or healthcare professional regarding safe use of this medicine. Caution is advised when using this drug in elderly because they may be more sensitive to the side effects of drug. this medication isn't recommended for use during pregnancy. women of childbearing potential should use two effective forms of birth control before, during, and for six weeks after taking it drug. Consult you're physician or doctor for more information. It's not known if this drug passes into breast milk. Because about potential risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this pill isn't recommended.
Cellcept drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drug you may use, especially: antacids, oral antibiotics, cholestyramine, azathioprine, probenecid, acyclovir, ganciclovir, live vaccines. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Cellcept Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose include: severe vomiting.
Cellcept special notes: do not share this medication with others. Keep all scheduled medical appointments. Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., blood counts) will be performed to monitor youre progress and side effects.
If you missed Cellcept dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If Its near time of following dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Cellcept Storage: Store mixed suspension at room temperature or in a refrigerator between 36 & 86 degrees F (2 & 30 degrees C) for no longer than 60 days. do not freeze. Discard any unused portion of bottle.
