Pyridium PLUS Usage: this med is used to treat symptoms of urinary tract (bladder) infections such as pain, burning, urinary urgency & frequency.

How to use Pyridium PLUS: Take this medication by mouth as directed usually with food or after meals. Take each dose with a full glass of water & drink plenty of fluids while taking this.

Pyridium PLUS side effects: Stomach upset, headache, dry mouth, drowsiness, dizziness or blurred vision may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, unusual bruising, pale fingernails, unusual weakness, fever, mental confusion, skin rash. this medication causes urine to turn orange-red in color. do not be alarmed. it effect is temporary & will disappear when medication is stopped. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

Pyridium PLUS Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: kidney problems, liver disease, stomach or intestinal disorders, glaucoma, any allergies. Because it tablet can cause drowsiness or blurred vision, use caution driving or performing tasks requiring alertness. Avoid alcoholic beverages while using this pill, for alcohol may intensify side effects of this medication. this drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult some your pharmacist before using this drug. this combination product contains a barbiturate. Barbiturates pass into breast milk which has resulted in producing undesirable effects on nursing infants. Using it med while breast-feeding is not recommended.

Pyridium PLUS medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you take, especially of: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), sleeping pills. this med may interfere with effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your doctor. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Pyridium PLUS Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include headache, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, dilated pupils, hot & dry skin, drowsiness, dizziness, difficulty swallowing, seizures, & loss of consciousness.

Pyridium PLUS special notes: do not share this pill with others.

If you missed Pyridium PLUS dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take it if this is near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Pyridium PLUS Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store at bathroom.
