Panatuss Dx Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Antitussives cough suppressants used to relieve a dry, hacking cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose & throat and itchy, watery eyes. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Panatuss Dx: Take this tablet as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more many times than directed. it med is best taken with a full glass about water after meal or snack.

Panatuss Dx side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur first few days as some your body adjusts to the medication. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your healthcare professional. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify youre healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Panatuss Dx Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, allergies (especially pill allergies). USD it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your healthcare professional promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with youre pharmacist. since small amounts of this pill found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Panatuss Dx med interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you use, including: blood pressure meds, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), narcotic pain medication (e.g., codeine). Limit some your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.

Panatuss Dx Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount about urine, fever, excitation, agitation, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, abnormal tongue or eye movement, slurred speech, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, slow or shallow breathing, change in amount of urine, unconsciousness, hallucination, sleeplessness, itching, or seizures.

Panatuss Dx special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this med. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Panatuss Dx dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Panatuss Dx Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in bathroom.
