    Combination antibiotic - ophthalmic solution

    Simular Drugs : Neosporin, Neosporin, Neosporin

    Neosporin Usage: it medication is used to treat eye infections.

    How to use Neosporin: since best effects, this medication must be used as directed. Continue using it for full time prescribed. Stopping this medication too soon may not clear the infection & could possibly result in a reinfection. Apply eye drops to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or let it touch youre eye. Shake eye drops before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number about drops. see downward and gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner about the eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. it will prevent the medication from draining away from eye. Try not to blink & do not rub the eye. do not rinse the dropper. If you are using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.

    Neosporin side effects: this medication may temporarily sting or burn you're eyes for a minute or 2 when applied. If it continues or becomes bothersome, inform some your doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for period after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your pharmacist immediately if you develop: skin rash, vision problems, itching/redness/pain/swelling in or around the eyes. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Neosporin Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist your medical history, especially of: other eye problems, any allergies you may have. this product should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. the meds in this product may be excreted into breast milk. Consult some your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Neosporin medication interactions: Tell youre pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. don't start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or physician approval.

    Neosporin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Neosporin special notes: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a few days, consult your doctor.

    If you missed Neosporin dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Neosporin Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Discard it if solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
