    Vicks 44e Cough & Chest Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. it combination medication is used to treat cough associated with the common cold, allergies and other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Vicks 44e Cough & Chest: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take this more often than directed. Capsules and long-acting meds must be swallowed whole with full glass about water. do not crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed & chance about side effects will be increased.

    Vicks 44e Cough & Chest side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss about appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur the first some days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop any about these effects while taking this drug: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this drug makes you feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.

    Vicks 44e Cough & Chest Precautions: Tell youre doctor your medical history, especially of: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), any allergies. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. since small amounts about it med are found in breast milk, consult your physician before breast-feeding.

    Vicks 44e Cough & Chest drug interactions: Tell some your physician about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.

    Vicks 44e Cough & Chest Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.

    Vicks 44e Cough & Chest special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

    If you missed Vicks 44e Cough & Chest dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Vicks 44e Cough & Chest Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
