Tegrin Usage: Coal tar shampoo is used to treat itching & skin flaking/irritation caused by certain skin conditions of the head & scalp (e.g., dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis).

How to use Tegrin: Apply this medication onto the hair & scalp usually twice weekly; or as directed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each application/shampoo. Wet your hair thoroughly with water & rub shampoo into lather on you're hair and scalp. Rinse your hair well with water & repeat. it medicated shampoo is for use on the scalp & hair only. don't use if you have open skin (e.g., sores/wounds) on youre scalp. Avoid getting any about this shampoo in youre eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse youre eyes thoroughly with water. If eye irritation persists or worsens, contact your doctor promptly. Avoid gettin any of this shampoo on your clothes. this product may stain your clothing.

Tegrin side effects: Minor skin/scalp irritation or darkened/stained skin may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your pharmacist promptly. Tell youre healthcare professional immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: large and/or painful skin sores/pimples on scalp. An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immediate healthcare attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

Tegrin Precautions: Tell youre physician youre medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. this medication may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure or wear protective clothing or hat when outdoors. Tell you're doctor if you pregnant before using this medicated shampoo. it is unknown if it tablet passes into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Tegrin drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of all prescription & nonprescription drug you may use, especially: other medicated shampoos or topical products. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.

Tegrin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this product may be harmful if swallowed.

Tegrin special notes: do not share this product with others.

If you missed Tegrin dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time about next dose, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

Tegrin Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
