    Dextromethorphan w/decongestant - oral

    Vicks 44d Cough & Head Usage: Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Vicks 44d Cough & Head: Take this drug as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. Capsule dose forms must be swallowed whole.

    Vicks 44d Cough & Head side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur 1st few days as youre body adjusts to the med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre physician. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, hypertension, tremors, extreme nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're physician or physician.

    Vicks 44d Cough & Head Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: heart disease, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, allergies (especially medication allergies). dollars this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects.     Vicks 44d Cough & Head Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, hyperactivity, slow or shallow breathing, blurred vision, or unconsciousness.

    Vicks 44d Cough & Head special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

    If you missed Vicks 44d Cough & Head dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if this is near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Vicks 44d Cough & Head Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
