Neo Polymyxin Dexamethasone Usage: this tablet is used to treat eye infections.
How to use Neo Polymyxin Dexamethasone: for best effects, this medication must be used as directed. Continue using it for the full time prescribed. Stopping this med too soon may not clear the infection & could possibly result in reinfection. Apply eye ointment to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the tube tip or let this touch you're eye. Rolling ointment tube in your hands for a minute will make ointment flow easier. Tilt you're head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ointment into the pouch by squeezing tube gently. Close eye & roll eyeball in all directions to spread the med. Try not to blink and don't rub eye. Wipe the tip of ointment tube with tissue to remove excess med before capping this. If you using an eye drop in addition to it medication, apply eye drops 1st & wait at least five minutes before applying it eye ointment. If you using another type about eye ointment, wait in least ten minutes after using this medication before applying it.
Neo Polymyxin Dexamethasone side effects: this med may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for minute or 2 when first applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable since period after applying eye ointment. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your doctor immediately if you develop: skin rash, itching/burning/redness/pain/swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or doctor.
