    Dextromethorphan w/decongestant - oral

    Infant Drops Usage: Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. it combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Infant Drops: Take it medication as prescribed. do not increase some your dose or take this more often than directed. Capsule dose forms must be swallowed whole.

    Infant Drops side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur 1st few days as youre body adjusts to the drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, tremors, extreme nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Infant Drops Precautions: Tell you're doctor if you have: heart disease, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, allergies (especially drug allergies). check this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult you're pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain it product has PPA. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of this drug found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Infant Drops drug interactions: Tell some your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, including: blood pressure pills, drugs used to reduce weight, heart medication, med that prevents drowsiness, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not use this product together with an MAO inhibitor, or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAO inhibitor medication. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Infant Drops Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, hyperactivity, slow or shallow breathing, blurred vision, or unconsciousness.

    Infant Drops special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

    If you missed Infant Drops dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Infant Drops Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
