Simethicone Usage: Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles at digestive tract. it tablet is used to relieve symptoms of excess gas. this has also been used at the management of infant colic.

How to use Simethicone: Take this medication by mouth as prescribed usually after meals and at bedtime. Chewable pills must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing to be most effective.

Simethicone side effects: this medication is generally well tolerated when used as directed. their are no reports of any side effects due to this med. However, if you experience any adverse effects while taking it medication, notify your healthcare professional.

Simethicone Precautions: Tell you're physician if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially drug allergies). Tell your healthcare professional if you are pregnant before using this tablet. It's not known if simethicone passes into breast milk. Though they're have been no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your physician before using it tablet.

Simethicone drug interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including any antacids or digestive medication since some combination products may also contain simethicone. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.

Simethicone Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Simethicone special notes: If you experience problems with gas, limit foods known to cause gas and bloating such as beans, cabbage, broccoli & peanuts. Ask you're healthcare professional or a dietician for help in reviewing your diet.

If you missed Simethicone dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if this is near the time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Simethicone Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
