Phazyme Usage: Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles in the digestive tract. this pill is used to relieve symptoms of excess gas. it has also been used in the management of infant colic.

How to use Phazyme: Take this medication by mouth as prescribed usually after meals & at bedtime.

Phazyme side effects: this drug is generally well tolerated when used as directed. there no reports of any side effects due to it medication. However, if you experience any adverse effects while taking this medication, notify your healthcare professional.

Phazyme Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially med allergies). Tell youre doctor if you pregnant before using this medication. it isn't known if simethicone passes at to breast milk. Though there have been no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your pharmacist before using this med.

Phazyme tablet interactions: Tell you're physician of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including any antacids or digestive drug since few combination products may also contain simethicone. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or doctor approval.

Phazyme Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Phazyme special notes: If you experience problems with gas, limit foods known to cause gas and bloating such as beans, cabbage, broccoli and peanuts. Ask you're physician or dietician for help in reviewing your diet.

If you missed Phazyme dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time since the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Phazyme Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
