Nembutal Sodium Usage: this medication is used to relieve nervousness, tension, or anxiety. this is used improve sleep disturbances such as insomnia. It's also used to treat seizure disorders.

How to use Nembutal Sodium: this tablet should be administered as directed by your doctor. for insomnia, use 30 to 60 minutes prior to bedtime. Use exactly as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take more often then prescribed. do not stop using this drug without you're doctor's approval. your dose may have to be gradually decreased if you have been taking it for some clock.

Nembutal Sodium side effects: this medication causes drowsiness & dizziness. Avoid tasks requiring alertness. other side effects may include headache, weakness, grogginess or dreaming. These effects must disappear as your body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, difficulty breathing, nosebleeds, confusion, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Nembutal Sodium Precautions: Tell youre physician your medical history, especially about: breathing problems, porphyria (a blood disorder), heart problems, pain (chronic or acute), history about alcohol or substance abuse, any allergies. do not drink alcoholic beverages; alcohol adds to the drowsiness caused by this drug. do not drive or engage in activities that require alertness. a preservative (benzyl alcohol) which may be found in it product or in the liquid used to mix it product (diluent) can infrequently cause serious problems (sometimes death) if given by injection to an infant during the first months about life (neonatal period). risk is greater with lower birth weight infants & is greater with increased amounts of benzyl alcohol. Symptoms include sudden gasping, LBP, or very slow heartbeat. Report these symptoms to the pharmacist immediately must they occur. If possible, a preservative-free product should be used when treating neonates. Elderly persons usually more sensitive to the effects about it medication. Use cautiously. this medication isnt recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your healthcare professional before using this medication. it medication has been shown to pass into breast milk & cause harm to a nursing infant. Consult your doctor about breast-feeding.

Nembutal Sodium drug interactions: this med can interact with many pills. Before you take this, tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drugs you are taking, including: anticoagulants ('blood thinners'), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), anti- seizure drugs, heart medications, thyroid meds, anti- depressants, narcotic pain drugs (e.g., codeine). this medication may cause drowsiness which will be increased if you also taking: antihistamines, sedatives, sleeping tablets, tranquilizers, muscle relaxers. this drug may interfere with effectiveness of birth control meds. Discuss using other methods about birth control with your physician. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.

Nembutal Sodium Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slowed or fast breathing; cold, clammy skin; change at size of pupil; deep sleep; & loss of consciousness.

Nembutal Sodium special notes: Long-term use can lead to dependence. Take only as directed. do not increase dose or take longer than prescribed. If tolerance and dependency develop, tablet will become less effective with prolonged use. If you develop severe pain while taking this medication, contact youre physician. do not allow anyone else to take this med.

If you missed Nembutal Sodium dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if this is almost clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Nembutal Sodium Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight.
